"My son recently received braces from here, and I can say it was a great experience for him. He went in nervous, but was quickly redirected by how friendly everyone was and how they educated him on everything. I was shocked how quickly the process went (it was my son's 1st consultation and he was able to receive his top braces right after/same day). I was not educated on braces at all, but after leaving I learned a lot. They will provide you with info packets as well as someone giving you a quick need to know rundown on the do's and don't before you leave their office. I also love the fact that they have an app you can download that keeps you updated on everything (ur payments also). Another key factor I love about Maginnis, was being able to select what day each month my payment will come out of my account, which I chose the 28th. The payments have where u can split the payments if u don't want the entire amount coming off one card and also if u splitting it with someone you can setup where it takes the amount u want from each person Etc....alot of options"

During my debonding it was a pretty uncomfortable experience. ive never had a cavity or filling so when they sanded the glue off i was nearly on tears. my tech was the gentlest woman ever she just told me how strong i was and how to breathe through the discomfort. she was so empathetic and lovely. i love my new smile. thank you 💖"

"My appointment was scheduled at 10am & they had a lobby full and still saw me at my scheduled time . While I was sitting doing my consult I noticed they had 73 ppl scheduled for the day plus the ones they had already seen .. I say that to say if you have an ortho seeing that many patients in one day .. they must be doing something right . The visit was pleasant, comfortable and AFFORDABLE. Ms Theresa did an amazing job and made me love my smile . I’m not going to tell yall my favorite part was picking out my color for my braces I’m (29) btw lol . Maginnis quickly got a new one measured for him. My younger son is still seeing Dr. Maginnis. He can be pretty anxious with work in his mouth. "I don’t know where start….well I start with “I Love this place! I’ve been a part of this family for over 4 years. Had my braces put on and removed after 3 years and I barely close my mouth. 😁 I had to get my bottom braces put back on because I had a shift and suffer with Trigeminal Neuralgia syndrome and TMJ where I clinch and grind my teeth during my sleep and when I am concentrating on things (bad habits hard to break.) The fact I get to come share and swap stories with Dr Maginnis and his entire staff is the height of my monthly visits. I know them all by name and have a quiet individual relationship with each of them and that’s facts. I’ve watched them grow and the care and skills are unmatched. As I have come almost half of my second journey I look forward to my new smile, again and greeting everyone (even other patients) with a smile that they are ALL responsible for. We counted down the days until today and once we arrived we were told the braces weren’t coming off but to pick a color. I was so sad and torn because I checked my son out of school early and being that I’m in dentistry myself I knew how much this day meant to him and myself as his mother. After voicing my concerns I had no idea the braces were actually ready to come off, but the procedure was to get a scan for his retainers and come back. Instead of making us wait the team immediately came up with a game plan to make sure my son wasn’t let down. Thank you guys so much for hearing my concern! "Amazing experience while on vacationI am here in Hilton Head vacationing with my children when one of them has a problem with his braces and it needs to be fixed ASAP. I get a referral from a Disney employee for Maginnis Orthodontist. I called them and they said bring him in this afternoon! So off we went and were greeted by a kind, caring employee who proceeded to fix his braces and cut the wire so it will not poke him. This all took about 10 minutes, since there was no wait time and they did it free of charge. What a great experience from this group."
